No @DPJHodges Those who’ll bear hardest burden of #Brexit our children, grand children & especially the poorest will be angry with those who have stood by, acquiesced, bleated “will of the people” knowing it’s not in national interest. In the circs @peoplesvote_uk is tame stuff

No one thought of my future when we were forced to join the common market in the 70’s. And as I, and other children of that era have grown up, it’s clear we want out.

From what we are witnessing in France, with full support of Merkel, sooner we get out of EU the better. I don't want my grandchildren living in a totalitarian gulag Why are no politicians condemning Macron's tyranny? How can EU issue threats to Venezuela with a straight face?

You know when you look at those cathedrals that took 600 years to build, and those that started them, knowing they would never see them, but for the long term future it was a wonderful thing? #brexit isn’t for tomorrow, it’s for the long term future of our country.

And there we have it, what Brexit really is: a chance to purge, and embrace a life of monastic self-denial. “Tighten your belts! So what if our children suffer!”. Brexit: “Austerity is good for you” (and keep the johnnies out while we’re at it!) And there was much rejoicing...

I see your tweet is tagged from Brussels, Henri. . Belgium has almost no national history, identity or character so I can quite see you wouldn’t understand the unique nature of this nation. Vision for the future, not short termism. Nothing wrong with that.

Dear Anna Soubry, You can’t always get what you want by making noise and stamping your feet, especially when 17.4 million people disagree with you. It’s called democracy.

Well, @Jacob_Rees_Mogg thought of them when he said it might take 50 years to see the benefits of #Brexit, although @Digbylj reckons it's probably 100 years, and @LiamFox thought maybe by 2060 we'd be ahead. Take a look:https://www.theguardian.com/politics/shortcuts/2018/jul/24/two-50-or-100-years-when-do-leavers-think-brexit-will-pay-off …
