This is the next step. The lie that applications are being rejected. The system has only be open for a week. If there WAS a problem you'd go back to the Home Office. You wouldn't run to post it on Twitter. Unless you Had. An. Agenda.
-
Damn them and their ‘wanting to continue to live in their own homes’ agenda.
-
You mean ‘live in privately rented homes, largely subsidised by the British taxpayer’. There fixed it for you.
-
EU citizens pay more into the system than they take out. Sorry to bring facts in to the discussion.
-
As a whole maybe, but there’s no reason keep taking the drains on the taxpayer in order to keep the ones we want. Sorry to bring facts to the discussion.
-
Under EU rules citizens can be sent back to their home country after 3 months if they don’t have work or means of supporting themselves. Don’t blame the EU because UK gov. chose not to enforce the rules available to them.
-
I don’t blame them, it doesn’t change the fact we don’t need the majority of them. Making your original ‘facts based’ statement largely irrelevant.
-
We have record employment levels, do we not? So we need our migration levels about where they are now. And that means as we leave the EU we’ll have to replace EU migrants with non-EU migrants. So you’ll still have the hump.

Many people that ring up to radio shows, are organised campaigning teams looking to push an agenda. Several people attempting to gain airtime, with the same lie. This is how Remain and the left have operated for decades.

Perm Res is not a simple application to grant. The applicant must demonstrate they have exercised Treaty Rights in the UK for a period of 5 years. Thats not straight forward for students, self employed etc. Simply lliving here for 5 years isnt enough. (Former EEA caseworker)

It shouldn’t be easy.

It is good that after years of being dismissive about the EU
#citizensrights issue you are looking into it. Record numbers of EU citizens, many settled for decades, have left the UK because this is what they expected. We are people not a number on the immigration statistic.pic.twitter.com/aCtVq65tNL
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Permanent residency should not be a guarantee just because you have lived in a country for years. EU people should be more patient, humble and respectful... and accept that this is not their country... I would be the same if I moved in their country.
-
What a condescending http://answer.My son's mum has lived here decades,we have kids here.Y should she feel threatened to be kicked out now?She has worked and contributed + to this country than some Brits have. She looks after British citizens in need of care.Shame on u

If you are trying to make me feel guilty... ain't gonna work!

Don't care how you feel. I'm just using and retweeting your post to highlight the rampant xenophobia present in our country.
