Typical comment though. Because it's "posh" it's wrong and one-sided not worth reading what it actually says. The tone and the writer more of an issue than the content.
(All too common these days)
I am the author, you plank.
Have you actually been to any leave areas and spoken to people? I think the second referendum will push 60% remain when it eventually happens. People realise they were lied to now.
There has been an overwhelming shift. Its really obvious in most cities other than Birmingham from my experience. Its kinda obvious too because all the leavers are so afraid of a 2nd referendum because they know they wouldn't be able to sell so many lies again.
Only this week a remain Lab MP said in Parliament over 75% of her constituents who had written to her urged her to support no deal. Support for no deal, not merely leave, is growing. It's obvious the only people who want a 2nd ref are those who didn't like the results of the 1st
Lol. Over 75% of people wrote letters. Thats about as convincing as £350m a week to the NHS.
So an 'overwhelming shift in your expierence' is solid evidence but lobbying an MP isn't... It's all academic anyway, said Labour MP's constituency voted 70% to leave & recorded the second highest vote for leave in the country...
You don't see how ridiculous a claim that 70% of her consituents writing to her sounds? I made it clear that my experience was anecdotal but I have hard leavers in my family that have since said "I'd vote remain given another chance"
You need to read more carefully. I said 75% of her constituents *who had written to her. No wonder you think the campaigns lied to you...
Well he has a point the importance though is recognising the incompetence of the @Conservatives !! The final deal / options should for validity be put back to the people!! @conservative4pv @YoungTories4PV @Scotland4pv
Would you see Parliament allowing a no deal Brexit and a party then campaigning to take us back into the EU or at least CU/SM if that proves to be a disaster as democratic?
Surely the enfranchisement of those that will be most affected far outweighs the other group...?!
Let's see what Iain Duncan Smith has to say about 2nd referendumspic.twitter.com/eMDACnXXej
He should know - he wrote it!
On the other hand, you’ll say that anyway
And not pompous.
Absolutely correct.
