Why do vegans want meat type things & meat flavoured stuff Don't want to eat meat but want to taste it ? Get cabbage flavour crisps not beef flavoured FFS Vegan is a

People don't go veggie because they don't like the taste of meat but because of the animal suffering and environmental damage, numb-skull.
-
But god wouldn’t have made animals out of meat if he didn’t want us to eat them!
-
a) God doesn't exist. b) We're animals and made of meat too c) Something being possible & enjoyable doesn't automatically mean we should do it.
-
Whether it's God or not you can't deny that millions of animals only have life because we eat them. Live and let live but haggis is a special recipe that can't have its meat content removed - be like IrnBru without any iron!
-
I'd rather those animals weren't bred and didn't lead such horrendous lives. It's unnatural and abhorrent - not to mention destructive. The "Veggie" or 'Vegan" before "Haggis" should be the giveaway to people with an IQ above 70 that it's not the meat version.
-
The point is that Haggis is a meat dish - made it as simple as I can.
-
That's why they call it Veggie Haggis on the packet. I don't see how this impacts anyone other than giving an interesting food choice to veggies on Burns night.

A vegan told me the other day that , "People who sell meat are gross!" I said, "People who sell fruits and vegetables are grocer."

I've never understood veggie/vegan food. If meat is murder, why are many veggie/vegan foods made to look & taste identical to meat based version? Do veggies/vegans want/need to look like murderers? Why not just have veggie/vegan food that looks exactly like.. what it actually is?
-
Maybe we should have the same but in reverse for carnivores? How about something that looks and tastes like a carrot but is actually bacon? Chicken made to resemble peas or lamb turned into peanuts?
-
Not many cows look like burgers, and I know of no pig that resembles a sausage. Your argument is ridiculous. Many vegans previously enjoyed meat but prefer not to cause the death of an animal purely to satisfy their taste buds.
-
So why make it look like and taste like and even name it after something so synonyms with meat eating, which requires animal death?
-
Mate. You’re an engineer. It’s just a shape made from different components.
-
Love how unnecessary riled Veganism gets some people.
