No I didn’t. I mocked someone for claiming that their son’s move to the other side of the world had anything to do with Brexit when it clearly didn’t.
So will you condemn Dyson for moving his business to Singapore? Which has a new trade deal with the EU? Which benefits him, not British workers?
No, it’s his choice. I want the U.K. to have a free trade deal with the EU too. No one in the UK is losing their jobs. He’s simply moving his business to the region where the growth is.
British Jobs moving elsewhere is not Global Britain.
Record employment. I blame Brexit.
Yeah. A gang of low-paid Deliveroo bikers hanging around my local low-paid McDonalds waiting to ship orders of burgers and Happy Meals to low-paid (or no-paid) families with in my local area is a great sign of how the British economy is doing.
Remind me again then if wages are so (commonly) low why we should continue to import unlimited cheap foreign labour from the rest of Europe?
Bizarrely, Lee, the EU migrants I know and love are actually better-qualified, better-educated and amazingly more reliable than many of the British 'workers' you claim whose jobs they're taking. Not all of them are jobs Brits won't do; they're jobs Brits can't do. That's why.
Thank you for that response. @JuliaHB1 is so profoundly stupid, arrogant & untruthful in asserting Dyson’s move a positive for the UK today & yesterday in informing @Femi_Sorry that she’d prefer to be treated by a British trained doctor....she’s just baiting Karma, right?
Take vac control
Hmmmm. When the Brexiteers were singing the praises of the Singapore Model during the referendum I'm not sure this is what the voters thought they had in mind...
He's opened a research and development centre employing thousands more staff and this has been in the works prior the referendum. Still singing praises for Singapore. It's our closest model to emulate.
Single party state, no unions, high immigration, low wages. Yep!
No chewing gum...
No chewing gum ?? Ooo mystified
They don't want people to spit it onto the pavement
. As a dog owner, I kind of agree.
I really can’t see why people drop chewing gum on the pavement.
Same as smokers flicking their dog ends - Puff! It's gone, not my problem.
