I would be happier if all of them were on proper contracts with decent conditions of work Julia.

These figures include people just doing a handful of hours each week, not enough to support themselves!! Maybe instead you should consider the vast numbers of people in receipt of in work benefits. Is that suggestive of a successful economy??

If you knew the sorry state of high-unemployment societies in the Continent, you'd answer a very big YES to your question

So some people should work a handful of low paid hours, supported by the public purse, but keeping the unemployment figures down. You think that's a better option? It seems to me both methods end up with society in a pretty sorry state.

Part of me thinks that we should go for ‘no Deal’ and see what happens but if we do, the politicians & others who promised the unicorns & riches must be held responsible & accountable. It will never happen of course but there should be some severe punishments for not delivering

Freedom from what? The uk has veto on all decisions, could stop immigration if decided to do so, democracy of the Eu parliament, MEPs and Government one of the three most powerful..the Brexit concept is flawed and mostly incorrect. We do need accountability for lying politicians

Telling the world that we have the highest employment figures in history!! No mention that one hour a fortnight is considered employment. 🙈🙉🙊
