Julia, @georgesstothard apoligsed immediately and know you are open mocking him. How about just accepted his apoligies and being nice about it?

Which EU countries have medical training not on a par with British medical training? Are Canadian, Irish, Aussie, Kiwi, South African doctors difficult to understand?

You mean all those doctors from English-as-their-primary-language countries? Can't imagine they would be that difficult to understand, no.

Indeed. But not British trained so not good enough for the hate mongress in chief.

wasn't actually Julie's point though. The language barrier was part of it, but it isn't the only issue. Focusing solely on that aspect is disingenuous at best.

Again, not the point that *Julia* previously auto-corrected) was making. We should have been/should be training our own doctors and nurses. Instead we have relied on the crutch of importing them from elsewhere.

Apologies aren't really worth much after false accusations of racism based on nothing. He didn't mishear, he heard what he wanted to hear to reinforce his bigotry.

There are excellent doctors from the EU and crap ones trained in UK, but anyone who thinks Romanian medical training is as good as UK training is delusional. I have some knowledge of this as assessor of underperforming doctors.
