While not a desirable result for many, even hard-line Boris (hopeful of May's job) the only exit plan for the Government and the country seems a no deal. No wiggle room appears now left?Corbyn is being spiteful by not even meeting May. (Shooting his own ambitions in the foot).

We need a petition to ask the Queen to dissolve Parliament until the last day of March, thus ensuring we get out, and save 39 billion..
-
Apart from Bercow (who believes he can make laws as he goes along) I doubt the Queen would be amused by such a procedural break. Besides IT would require over 17,000,000 signatures.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall the next time Mrs May comes to the palace..

Forgers are not easy to come by at short notice.

We need to leave on WTO and have a general election reasonably soon after. That way we can elect politicians based on their post-Brexit plans to take advantage of our new found freedom.

To say “if parliament can’t agree then the only option is a second referendum” sets an extraordinary precedent. So from this point forwards whenever politicians can’t agree something we need to have a referendum. So idiotic.
-
Further, John Major is one of the reasons that I voted leave. The way that he tried to force us into the Euro, the failed ERM and the German reaction to the run on the pound all helped form my views of the EU.

Yes because John Major allowed free votes on the Maastricht Treaty didn't he! These people really are totally out of step. If they get their way and stop Brexit, the U.K. won't be in the EU anyway, because the whole place will be on fire, such will be the anger among voters.

On leaving the EU in March by law there's only two types of brexit available either Mays deal adjusted and voted through parliament at 2nd attempt or default onto wto with no vote required in parliament as it's the default mechanism of the Lisbon treaty

With an original margin of 52/48 and with all that has happened and we have learned since via the negociations anyone who says they believe there is a mandate in this country for a no deal exit is lying to themselves IMO
-
The losing side says no mandate for Brexit.. quelle surprise..

We vote them in to do a job. We voted to leave the EU, it was not deal dependant. Are they frightened of taking full responsibility to do the job ?

I just want someone, anyone really, to stand up and take our ref result by the scruff of its neck, lead us out of the EU on Mar 29 and then start negotiations with the EU, if they are willing. Dont care who. Boris, Gove - anyone. Please!
-
I don't believe you have a PhD. No one with a brain could honestly believe a country could survive without anything leaving or entering while trade deals are negotiated.
-
Especially a PhD in chemistry, a heavily deterministic topic area, where consequences are everything.

Blimey .Try Google.
