so reading that shows Currently he's here as a resident but he presumes he won't be given residence after brexit, So he doesn't realy know?? So based on a presumption his residence is denied? You won't realy know until his application is dealt with??

From my understanding, and my partner is a Belgian migrant, is that the new status will be the equivalent of permanent residence. The article describes someone rejected from that, and hence unlikely to receive residence afterwards. The home office has been v unclear about this.
