Approximately eight minutes before a very uncomfortable silence when the realities of no deal were explained to them..

@IsabelOakeshott wanted to challenge@anandMenon1’s negative take on No Deal but wasn’t given the opportunity. We already know that most of what he said has been debunked eg Calais Port CEO’s recent announcementhttps://www.reuters.com/article/britain-eu-calais-idUSL8N1Z93DE … -
Is that not because the French are picking up our slack..? The general consensus, from the people I’ve spoken to, here in Derby is that no deal means nothing will change.. that lack of knowledge is catastrophic.
-
Obviously we have been let down by the govt but the move to WTO will not be the doomsday scenario that
#projectfear has pushed. Many businesses have publicly stated that they are ready for the adjustment.@IsabelOakeshott was right. Walking away will get us the best deal. -
Respectfully, disagree. Whilst I think that strategically it backs the EU further towards a corner, they’re still motivated by the need to retain the other member states, which could just mean stalemate, surely. The entire rest of the EU needs to back what is agreed and let’s be
-
fair.. we can’t even get a decent score at Eurovision.

2/2 shrinking etc. The Euro 27 want...in many respects need to trade with us. As the 5th (or 6th) biggest economy why on earth would they stop trading. Anyway if they do play hard ball there is a big world out there who would jump at the chance to work with us. Their loss really!
-
I hope you’re right. But if the industry we rely on do jump ship, we only have homegrown value to offer, and without cracking open the mac I don’t actually know what that is..

Number of voters on last night’s BBCQT... a few hundred. Selection criteria: unknown. Statistics not really your subject is it?
-
-
She used the word voters, not audience, implying that the reaction of the audience was reflective of voters in general, which to be honest none of us know...

I was against No Deal BUT if we automatically leave on March 29th at 11pm then it focuses Both sides mind and it ends the Politicking because e will be out. Then the mps will have to do their jobs.
-
Why they don't take up Tusks offer of Super Canada style FTA offered 7th March 18 and ready to go at DexEU is unfathomable. It would give business certainty and citizens rights ect. It beggars belief its not happening when the solution is there. Ticks all boxes, gets us out.
-
Dexeu has no say it is reMAYn and oily robbins running the show.
-
No...I didn't say DexEu did have a say... but they have it ready to go if required.
