Imagine if you put up a job advert and it said no one over 50 need apply because you’re going to be dead soon!
-
Did someone say that no one over 50 need to vote because they'll be dead soon? Is it unreasonable to project, say, the liabilities of a pension fund based on the rate at which people die and differences between those people?
-
I think trying to compare a fiscal model of return and liability versus the democratic right to vote is a stretch but maybe I’ve misunderstood you!

What she forgets is that many old people were voting for a future for their children and grandchildren; rather like the man who planted acorns for the tree he'll never live to see. No Brexit means a betrayal of an unprecedented magnitude in our history.

Perfectly put, my reasons exactly for voting out.

And millions of30 somethings just became 40 somethings. On this logic we must assume they would now vote leave?
-
I just turned 40 Steven. I voted leave.
Maybe the 20 something’s turning 30 may now vote leave.
-
I voted remain but I actually think I’d vote leave if they did a 2nd referendum just to help democracy rule, shouldn’t be a 2nd vote.
-
Probably some truth to this. Regardless of what you think of the EU voting remain now would empower the rotten cabal to abuse their power further. Leaving should also lead to a clean out of this generation of inept politicians and career civil servants.

It's a pretty disgusting way to push an agenda, also I doubt the numbers take into account the reluctant remainers like me who would now vote leave due to a belief in democracy.

Some young remainers have also got older and wiser since the vote, thus have become new leavers. That's how it works presumably, although I don't know if they've worked out where the cut- off is
-
Absolutely disgusting!
