She claims to have delayed the planned surgery, advised by her doctors, until a later date
-
“She spoke to medical staff at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, London, and they agreed to the delay.”
-
Yes, a delay to the date advised for her surgery. For the health of her baby.
-
And the doctors agreed to the delay. You’re annoyed about the wrong thing here

If your government wasn’t so heartless she wouldn’t have to! Criticising her sums you up! FFS she will never be more than 10 minutes in an ambulance from the best medics in the country
-
It’s not MY government. Pairing system or no pairing system, it’s totally irrelevant.
-
The pairing system is vital part to the Commons. Last time a pregnant Labour MP relied on her “pair” went ahead and voted. Now this MP has had to make this choice because nobody can trust the Tory Whips office. If it’s not your government feel free to criticise it occasionally
-
And surely the solution is to let MPs vote remotely as opposed to criticising an expectant mother. We aren’t living in the Middle Ages ffs.
-
Of course it is totally absurd

-
I’m not bitter, I’m just horrified any mum could behave that way
