The British people have the backbone. It is just that they are being represented by a government that doesn't!

Looking forward to when we finally cancel Brexit. There is no “back bone” in bullying your way to deprive your fellow citizens of hard won rights and economic prosperity

Well - size matters, whether it is negotiating trade deals, taking on the large multinationals, tackling global issues like climate change. So not having the backbone to be at the front of the pack seems opting for a weak position

The EU is largest economic block in the world - hardly a collapsing economy is it?

Agree 100% ... BUT if she goes for a No Deal, Parliament will vote it down; in fact they seem hellbent on voting down everything T May suggests. Appalling. Whatever happened to delivering the Referendum result?!

The referendum result is unachievable ffs. Brexit is Brexit isn't and wasn't a policy. It's a bloody slogan to appeal to little bloody Englanders with no clue as to what their votes meant. Liars if they say different.

Interesting viewpoint. Those I know who voted Leave (and I voted Remain) are not “little englanders” (far from it) but keen to be rid of the waste & corruption in the EU

It's not the British people that need to show a backbone, we've already spoken! The Establishment don't want to leave the EU, they don't respect the referendum result in Westminster and they treat the electorate (at their peril) with disregard!
