We are leaving the EU on March 29th as enshrined in law. The EU, even the Mayor of Calais have assured us it will be business as usual if we leave with no deal. The only people causing panic are those who don’t want to leave. Irresponsible of people to say no deal is disaster

Changes nothing, Motions and amendments are parliamentary wallpaper non binding with no statutory effect. Acts are Law, Parliament can't stop Brexit & Parliament can't stop No deal. Only the exec can.

I’d be interested to know why Grieve filed the amendment that was unprecedented for it to be accepted. Had he already Okd it with Bercow? Was there collusion?

Without a doubt

It seems widely misunderstood that No Deal & WA are both holding stages for a future trade deal. WA gives a smooth transition to a horrible eventual outcome. ND gives a horrible transition to the best outcome. Why do most of our MPs & many of our commentators not understand this?
-
Nope, you have no idea of the future, staying in the EU could be a horrible future as the next step is getting rid of tax vetos
-
Don’t get your point, as staying in the EU isn’t an option I’ve postured.

As long as she doesn't table a no deal as her plan b, which would give parliament a chance to vote against it... I'm ok with her dragging her feet til the end of march.

This is false Govt only need to bring plan B in 3 days But no time limit on actual vote on it

-
And that achieves what exactly, Finny?
-
Ticks the box on the pointless amendment.
-
And by abusing Parliament helps the country how? Parliament will simply pass another motion requiring the Government to act. Pissing off the legislature you need to pass any legislation isn’t helping anyone except wreckers.
-
How is following parliamentary process abusing Parliament? And yes if that happens MPs are able to table unlimited amendments. The legsilature are doing everything they can to thwart the exec anyway so why keep them sweet?
-
Because The Executive serves at the pleasure of the elected Parliament, not the other way around – much as May and Co spent the last two years not realising that inconvenient (for them) fact. If they can’t carry Parliament, there won’t be Brexit at all.
-
Oh please, you are quite happy with parliament being fustrated if it blocks Brexit, I bet you are not bothered with Bercow breaking rules yesterday as it suited you. If there is one thing I can’t stand it is hypocrites
-
Again, what does pissing off MPs by denying them temporarily the chance to properly vote on matters actually achieve? Who does it benefit? Like delaying the vote in December, it is utterly pointless when the Government has no plan at all for what to do next.

Only yourselves to blame. Easiest deal in history is surprisingly not easy.
-
Not when it is being fought and compromised by people trying to stop it
-
Not really. But you’re a brexiteer so there’s zero point even trying.
-
You are a remainers and full of falsehoods
