all irrelevant. The British people were asked and never consented to giving away our Parliamentary sovereignty to the EU.

Not sure what you want me to explain. The British people can control what the British Parliament does but they can’t control what the EU does. Which bit of this confuses you?

Deep sighs. Read that tweet in context. The only reason British parliamentary sovereignty matters is because it is controlled by the British PEOPLE. It doesn’t have any value without the consent of the people. Genuinely perplexed why you can’t understand this.

We had a general election in 2017. The British people chose to give no party a majority, ensuring the need for consensus. Genuinely perplexed why you can’t understand this.

Happy to clarify. It's the bit where you claimed no one talked about Parliamentary sovereignty, then I pointed out you did. Many examples in the thread of those in the public eye doing similarly too. You're wrong, and no amount of deflection or condescension changes this.

No amount of weasalness will change you are only destroying your own straw man fallacy. MPs asked the public to vote Remain or Leave the EU. Plain and simple They didn’t ask the public to decide whether to accept an EU lock in instead of Leaving, or *anything* else.
