all irrelevant. The British people were asked and never consented to giving away our Parliamentary sovereignty to the EU.

Over and above the sovereignty of the European Commission or European Parliament, yes, but not above the sovereignty of the British people, from whom our Parliament derives its legitimacy.

Our British constitution doesn't work like that (you really should know this). Parlt is sovereign end of - over the govt and people (who elect it). It can delegate its sovereignty to the people via a binding referendum. But in this case it chose not to & made it 'advisory'.

Could be wrong but don’t remember many referendums being held in dictatorships. There are probably examples of sham ones though with the result rigged or ignored. We however are supposed to be living in a democratic country.
