Rather the opposite I believe, although I’m sure you would prefer those racists outside parliament or as you would call them democratshttps://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1082717983552823296 …

Ah....the default position of calling everyone who disagees with you a "racist" thus shaming people to not express an opinion that contradicts the narrative
-
No only the nice fellows abusing police MPs and journalists outside parliament . I’m sure you’re a wonderful open minded individual who respects a sovereign parliament

Can't justify their actions but that doesn't make them "racist". Mindless, definitely but racist? From what I've seen, nothing shouted was "racist". Shame there wasn't this much backlash when Pro-EU protestors were abusing MPs - could have prevented this incident happening

You do know Islam isn't a race, right?

He makes no mention of Ms Soubry's use of similar language, then again, a Liverpudlian and Everton supporter puts him at a double disadvantage to qualify

It starts with name-calling. "Idiot". "Remoaner". That powers the abuse we saw earlier in the week. It culminates in what happened to Jo Cox. People with a voice, such as influential journalists , should be part of the solution, not the problem.
