On a purely, purely personal note: #ImmigrationWhitePaper makes for a depressing and sad read. I would qualify for the highly-skilled system, but it certainly doesn't make me feel welcome in the UK.

many of us frequently work in Europe Julia - we are not saying that immigration should be cut from elsewhere but Europe is our home ! We can hop on a ferry to go back and visit friends in other countries as they are close by !
