People like ⁦@IainDale⁩ convinced you to vote for Brexit to save the £0.0088 you contribute to Jean-Claude Junker’s wages. 320,000 sleep rough in Britain. Imagine a world in which £2 billion helps humans instead of following geeks down rabbit holeshttps://www.theguardian.com/politics/2018/dec/17/theresa-may-pushes-forward-2bn-no-deal-brexit-preparations …

320,000 people don’t sleep rough in this country. That is a blatant lie. It’s out by about 315,000. Even 1 rough sleeper is too many but, when you’re slagging off someone for no good reason, at least try to get one fact right.

Julia is absolutely right, Government's own figures, done by periodic head count, around 5,000. Where the number is the key part of your story, to be out by a multiple of 64 or over 6000% is shocking reporting

Yes, a very different thing. The homeless figure includes people living in temporary accommodation and B&Bs. It’s not acceptable but they are not living on the streets. The figures out today are for rough sleeper deaths. Facts do matter, you know.

On the subject of facts, me saying 320,000 ‘rough sleepers’ when I meant ‘320,000 homeless’ was a “blatant lie” was it?

Denny, the periodic headcount, which informs the government figures, is undertaken by homeless charities, who will be familiar with and aware of almost all 'genuine' street homeless. Try and learn first, get facts, then spout drivel after if you still must
