... "culpability trials", Goodness! Sounds terribly 1984 & not the sort of trial where evidence needed.

I'M GOING TO WRITE IN CAPITALS SO YOU FULLY UNDERSTAND. THE £39BN IS A BALL PARK FIGURE FOR OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE EU. THE UK HAS COMMITTED TO PAY THIS FIGURE. IF IT DEFAULTS, NO COUNTRY WILL DO TRADE WITH THE UK AS IT WONT BE TRUSTED. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH FOR YOU?

I'M GOING TO DO THIS IN CAPITALS SO YOU HOPEFULLY UNDERSTAND. £39 BILLION IS AN UNACCOUNTED FOR MADE UP FIGURE JUST LIKE MOST OF THE EU'S ACCOUNTS. THE ACTUAL ACCOUNTABLE AMOUNT IS MORE LIKE £8 BILLION. I SUGGEST YOU STOP PAYING DIANE ABBOT FOR MATHS LESSONS

Both the EU & the UK have agreed the provisional sum of £39bn. Please supply your evidence that the figure should be nearer £8bn & I'll get Diane Abbott to stop counting on her fingers & toes.

I'll refer you to the House of Lords and Hansard. however if your your too lazy to look those up can I ask you for the evidence that £39 billion is agreed under a no surrender WTO deal. 'nothing is agreed until everything is agreed' is the saying. please suck on that for a while.

As stated in the commons, the divorce bill is a financial commitment that we cannot renege on regardless of how we leave. Therefore your claim that we don’t have to pay it is a lie.
