Hands up who knew Laura Ashley still had stores anyway?https://twitter.com/itvnews/status/1074565680584974337 …

Wow. If you don’t understand what point he was making you must be thick as mince.
Or maybe I’m just not virtue signalling for the sake of it?
Or maybe you realised that you tweeted something in somewhat bad taste, but as you’re incapable or unwilling to have the self awareness to admit that, you’ve doubled down to trot out bullshit catchphrases like ‘virtue signalling’ to try and imply that everyone else is wrong.
No, I don’t think my tweet is in bad taste at all. John simply wanted to make political capital out of it. That’s up to him.
It’s making a joke on the back of people losing their jobs. You knew it would provoke a reaction, which is why you did it. Then ‘moaned’ about the reaction you had hoped to provoke in the first place. We all know how this all works.
I really can’t be bothered with this. You think I’m a bad person so view anything I write or say in that light. I don’t care.
I think you’re another of the string of ‘professional trolls’. No better or worse than Katie Hopkins, Piers Morgan et al. You need the replies to manufacture relevance and keep your business model going, but you’ll have to get ever more edgy, a la Hopkins, and it won’t end well.
And how does my tweet in any way mock them or make it more likely they will lose their jobs? Oh, and, by the way, a disc jockey plays music. I host a news and current affairs show. I know this stuff is complicated but do try to keep up.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart, the very next day you gave it away...
That it doesn't matter if you didn't know Laura Ashley still has stores open...because the people who work there (and now face losing their jobs) certainly will.
Yes, that would be the case. And how does that add to or dismiss the point of my tweet?
You’re inviting your followers to share your surprise that Laura Ashley has 40 stores. Your tweet implies that even if the stores are closing, it’s largely irrelevant as you’re not going to miss something you didn’t know was there
So if the closures are attributed to the uncertainty surrounding Brexit, you can close down the debate as you and your followers didn’t even realise Laura Ashley had that many stores.... so who’s going to miss them?
His point is clear to me.
So I am beginning to notice
