My faith in British democracy has been shaken to the core in the last 2 years. Senior politicians on all sides brazenly saying that a Referendum is of no consequence because the incorrect result was voted for by the People

“My faith in British democracy has been shaken to the core in the last 2 years” Mine too! How anybody thinks that democracy can be achieved via Law Breaking and Fraudulent Campaigning is beyond me. Except of course for the likes of Putin

You prove my point!

So after a Referendum with over 30million votes it comes down to a handful of people with brown tongues to make the decision? Pfft

She isn’t making any deals. She’s capitulating completely to what the EU want. Here’s a ‘new’ idea, one that should have been given to the EU 2 yrs ago. The UK is leaving the EU without a deal.....come back and see us if there’s anything you want to talk about, if not , bye.
-
No deal is the only way but they’ll never let it happen. it seems that the whole of parliament are not prepared to let us leave. And yet they seem to think they represent us.

All options aren’t exhausted. Leaving the EU with no deal and trading on wto will be fine. It’s what most of us expected and wanted when we voted leave!!

Agreed,
@PhilipHammondUK Hammond flip flops on tax as well - in the past he spoke of the offensiveness of retrospective taxes and yet supports the#2019LoanCharge against hard working families#STOPtheLoanCharge tackle the promoters and#HMRCHumanCost failings -
Exactly the same stance of
#IR35. When Liebour introduced it, Tories were all over it, proclaiming it unfair. As soon as they take the helm, they've not only kept it, but worsened it! Liars, the lot of them!! Politicians can't be trusted.

An election they didn’t actually win meaning a majority did not back their manifesto
-
It was in both main parties manifestos
-
Indeed it was. However I was merely responding to a particular comment. I’m sure voters on both sides voted in spite of that commitment

@theresa_may@CCHQLondon should be very careful about that, a second referendum might be her and her Govs undoing. Would be a very dumb decision for everyoneThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
