I'm very happy to put the reality of Brexit - rather than what you were telling them - to the people.pic.twitter.com/nVHocFpjKB

I’m busy right now but keep up the good work, Jolyon. Every time you speak or tweet, Leave gets another supporter. X

When you don't have an argument you result to petty patronising. Not a good look.

We had a GE in 2017 and the PM lost her mandate to do brexit. It actuallly cancelled out brexit. Where is democracy in that? The media has been disgraceful in all this, need Leveson 2 to sort out those who are paid to destroy our country
-
Yes we do. We need new laws on media ownership and on wilfully dishonest or misleading reporting, especially in relation to electoral matters. We need to make disinforming the electorate a national security matter, along with foreign interference and dark money.
-
We can see now why Cameron stopped Leveson 2 even after we paod Millions to look into the problems with the media. He NEEDED a corrupt machine to promote the brexit propaganda (he was always anti EU behind the scenes) It might have ruined the BBC forever

It’s not difficult to work out that what he is saying is there is no good version of Brexit. No version where people are anything other than much worse off. With the exception of some disaster capitalists and sensationalist “journalists”.

Are you suggesting that vote was democratic, given that
#JRM said she must resign having won 2/3rds of the vote? Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Democracy isn't some magic genie. It doesn't simply magic up a solution to an impossible problem.
-
Maybe not. But in political terms it is the closest thing we have to a magic genie and when applied, yields the greatest results for society. When subverted, it’s akin to finding a unicorn and shooting it dead.
-
How? Democracy in this fashion is just a way of setting goals. If those goals are realistically unattainable then either they get abandoned or a decision is looked at again

Cam should never have put a totally known EU versus a totally unknown Leave fantasy on a first snout over the line charade without having built in a Confirmation vote at the end of the process Known V Known not just Known V Fantasy What we had is incomplete democracy in that vote
-
Cameron (our Prime Minister at the time) made it absolutely clear in multiple TV interviews that voting to leave the EU meant that we would leave the Customs Union and leave the Single Market. I was 110% clear about what 'I' was voting for, as did almost every other LEAVE voter.

You “won” Julia (lol), so, please, stop moan, moan, moaning and get over it. This is as a direct result of what you chose to vote for, so suck it up.

Apparently so. Two thirds if Parliament and two thirds of the Country want Theresa May to go.
