The whole reason there’s a vote of no confidence happening is because she says one thing and then does the opposite. This would just be another own goal.

I don’t trust a word she say. I campaigned for her in last general election
everything we said to public on their door steps turned out was lie. Why should anyone trust her. She is one of the reason why now people lost faith in politics and politicians. - 1 more reply

You’ve just had inadvertently come up with the latest Brexit slogan: “Brexit: Rarely does anything it said it would do, that’s the problem”.

What's more likely May voluntarily standing down or May lying to MPs to get 12 month immunity and stubbbornly trying to fight a GE depsite telling them she won't? If you think it's the first scenario after everything she's done so far then I have a bridge to sell you.

Surely a near future General Election is MORE likely if she wins - DUP are clear in opposition to her deal. At some point that's gotta take bottom out of Confidence & Supply arrangement. So she makes it through a 1922
#NoConfidence to face a parliamentary one THEN steps down? :-/ -
Difficult to see how such a commitment works logically even IF it's made with honest intention

So the
@Conservatives want to impose@theresa_may on the public today, but in a few years they will try to convince us to vote for them because she has been replaced. Hypocrisy, deceit and contempt, the hallmark of the politician. - 1 more reply

even if that's true , we need someone with a backbone to stand up to the EU right now, or we'll be lumbered with the crappest brexit possible under May

It’s called lying.

I prefer using the phrase not telling the truth in classic sense: yes, she is a compulsive liar.

She didn't fight for brexit that's why we are where we are now. A totally inept deal that would put us backwards and on our knees. If she is supported tonight the tories is finished

yes, she's a compulsive liar, "brexit means brexit" "we're leaving the single market" "leaving the customs union" "no deal is better than a bad deal" anybody who believes her now is a fool
