Yeah, sod the low skilled UK workers, eh? Highly skilled workers will always be in demand everywhere. They’ll be fine.https://twitter.com/Richard2957/status/1072506111352365057 …

Self self self self self self. Perhaps you'd like to think about the highly-skilled UK workers working on international projects in Europe who you have affected.

Julia, what do you think would help lower skilled workers most? Higher levels of growth or lower levels of immigration?

        1. What would help them most is if the British govt and business world were motivated to make sure they were skilled instead of importing cheap labour from the EU.

        2. Higher growth overall doesn’t necessarily translate into higher growth for everyone. A higher GDP shared out among more people isn’t necessarily higher per person and doesn’t help everyone.

        3. You don’t have to choose between growth and immigration. Everyone wants some immigration. We just don’t want or need mass uncontrolled immigration of often low skilled workers who aren’t net contributors.

Can anyone name a single country which denies visas to highly skilled workers with projects waiting for them? Seriously.

Yep those selfish low-paid people who can't find an affordable home to rent because landlords have worked out that 6 single EU workers can afford more than a family on minimum wage.

High class problems. If Remainers are always claiming to be more intelligent, shouldn't be a problem finding work. Or go and live under EU rule.
