You using the word ‘lose’ sums brexiters up. There isn’t any winner from this.

Erm there is a loser and a winner in a referendum and Remain lost. Sorry to have to explain this basic principle of political science?

Maybe you should write it on the side of a big red bus so he can understand it better?

Or perhaps the Govt could spend £9 million of public money leafleting every household to explain how a referendum works and that they would uphold the result. Oh wait...

"Voters aren’t stupid, y’know." Hate to say this, but a lot of them are. Both Leavers + Remainers. What's stupid Julia is to say that all voters are intelligent and on the ball when that is so clearly not the case

As was pointed out elsewhere, 70% of people don't know who their MP is. They're not stupid, they just aren't engaged and form their opinions based on what they see on TV or on the front pages of the newspapers.

The leading politicians of all current parties are un-electable in my view. On the ballot paper of future elections there should an opinion to abstain. I currently wouldn’t vote for any of them.

If parliament rejects the deal why on earth should the people be asked again? The MPs do not follow our instructions so why would they if we told them to accept the (bad) deal? Laughable

advisory referendum. they were not given instructions. that happened in the 2017 general election when it was in the manifestos, but in that election no party won a majority

Most people did not know it was advisory .. was the 1975 referendum advisory? The Scottish referendum? The voting system referendum? The result of these referendums were carried out whether advisory or not.

possibly voters did not know since Twat told them otherwise, but the poodles did know and should have told their constituents at the time. This is the sovereign parliament that needs to take back its laws from EU.
