The #brexit debate has always been an exercise in denial and wishful thinking.
Now cabinet urges May to delay vote to “plead” (FT) with Brussels. Delusion.
Do Brexiteers hate this deal? Or actually just hate the choices Brexit presents? In the real world. 1/

Oh I do Julia. Why I’ve no time for absurdly titled “People’s Vote” (which ‘people’? FFS) Agree
#brexit needs accountability. Why picking May was a mistake. Needed a Brexiteer in charge. Raab/Davis/Boris and co all just ran away. Rather than remain accountable. -
Amen to all of that! X

As a keen follower of Peter, it’s clear he’s having proper brexit fatigue. Don’t worry, Peter, in 2025, we still be here talking extending transition and who’s going to fill the next DeExU role after the latest Secretary of State ran away again.

If you believed in democratic accountability you'd willingly take account of the 48% of the electorate voting Remain not just the ambiguous & inconsistent wishes of 52%. You'd also support clarification of those wishes on the final deal with a

Lets do it right now. What are the wishes of the 48%?

Clearly to Remain in the EU, & beyond that to get as close to EU membership as possible but at present to get a
