10,000 HGVs pass through Dover every single day, taking 2 minutes on average. So is this assuming that every lorry after a No Deal Brexit will take 24 hours? That’s one heck of a lot of customs paperwork.https://twitter.com/faisalislam/status/1070757813692129285 …

Or is this just all 10,000 lorries travelling through Dover on 30 March 2019 which are then held captive in the lorry park for months on end?

And why would any lorries be traveling through Dover after a No Deal Brexit anyway? No one in the EU will be willing to sell us anything or buy anything from us after we leave, surely? Or maybe they’ll be happy to sell to the giant locusts that will by then be ruling over us.

If they spend more time checking lorries they might just spot more illegals just a thought.

The REAL story here is that Kent CC has been working on this for some time and is getting ready for a No Deal Brexit. The expectation is disruption for 3-6 months casting circa £22m (not Bn) and they have covered every issue from schools to dustbins. Well done KCC. /-

Oh who cares anymore. We're all going to hell..... What have we done. We're doomed, forever in purgatory. Forever to remain last in the alphabetical order, last to be picked in the sports and worst.... To never ever ever ever have a chance to win the Eurovision song contest.

Julia, maybe the PM intends holding the lorries captive until the EU Army lands at Dover as part of Jean-Claude Juncker's invasion plans. Then, as part of her no deal planning, Gavin Williamson will wheel out a 200 feet tall magonel & start hurling the HGV's at said EU Army ⁉️
