10,000 HGVs pass through Dover every single day, taking 2 minutes on average. So is this assuming that every lorry after a No Deal Brexit will take 24 hours? That’s one heck of a lot of customs paperwork.https://twitter.com/faisalislam/status/1070757813692129285 …

Or is this just all 10,000 lorries travelling through Dover on 30 March 2019 which are then held captive in the lorry park for months on end?

And why would any lorries be traveling through Dover after a No Deal Brexit anyway? No one in the EU will be willing to sell us anything or buy anything from us after we leave, surely? Or maybe they’ll be happy to sell to the giant locusts that will by then be ruling over us.

Operation Stack already exists, the M2 turned into a car park every year as the French go on strike & barricade the port of Calais. We seem to manage just fine & life doesn't come to an end. Project Fear 2.0 is rather tiresome 😴😴

Thousands of containers from China, US & other nations outside of EU pass through Liverpool, Felixstow & many other ports each day. They are lifted off the ships onto trucks & out the ports in lightening speed!. WTO what is the problem #NoDeal #NoProblem

You know what Julia. Regardless of what happens in the end. I’m gutted to have found out about the amount of people that do not believe in this amazing country. They have truly removed the word ‘Great’ from Great Britain. They should be ashamed of themselves.

If you studied the concepts of Poisson Distribution and basic queuing theory you would know that making even a small change to the individual delay makes a huge difference to queue length. But then who needs experts eh?

Actually queues happen now at Dover if there’s a mechanical problem, or Ferry delays they cause massive delays we were stuck in a queue there for five hours along with hundreds of cars and lorries but eh let’s ignore that it happens now shall we? It Doesn’t fit your agenda!......pic.twitter.com/mrIGnozWC7

All you've demonstrated is that the current throughput capacity of the Dover crossing is already very close to the tipping point where queue length accelerates exponentially. This suggests we should be looking for ways to reduce existing clearance delays not increase them.

Actually I was proving a point that queues happen now for various reasons and it’s not just going to be because of “Brexit “ like most remainers would have us believe you’re welcome !👍

All you've proved is that the current system is already fragile and even a tiny transient problem can cause hours of delays. Now extend that problem permanently. #HappyToHelp

👏🏻👏🏻So you know it’s fragile now and queues can happen at anytime so why are we not coming up with solutions for potential problems now?
