This is all so laughable. The Govt’s line is basically: We can’t have a No Deal Brexit because we haven’t done any planning for a No Deal Brexit, because we don’t want a No Deal Brexit so we won’t plan for a No Deal Brexit... repeat to fade.https://twitter.com/faisalislam/status/1070423583871119370 …

When will Parliament learn? The Public disapproved the Lisbon Treaty for a return of economic prosperity (Lost in the post), The public were told they were wrong and were ignored and still Parliament seems to think it knows better and continue to hold the electorate in contempt😂

When handing over Sovereignty they didn’t have a clue what we were going to get in return 🤷🏻‍♂️ we got sod all, if anything we have lost a substantial amount of GDP since.

Here's the thing. Most of the preps needed are for biz (the small % who trade directly w/ EU), not for govt. And they have prepped. UK ports/customs will run light touch customs, wave lorries thru & collect consolidated tariffs in arrears. We are prepared. @AlexanderKerr01

There is no such thing as a No Deal Brexit. The deal will be leaving on WTO terms if Theresa May's deal is rejected. It is that simple.

It’s all engineered, she’s like a conniving wizard with something up her sleeve ready to take another step into the biggest deception in UK politics. A PM trying to deceive the entire nation she should represent.

The referendum was implicitly, 'do you want to be free of the EU or not' The answer was we want to be free of the EU. Stuff deals.. we just want to be free. THAT WAS THE DEAL.

We know a great deal more about a WTO future than a bullet-point wish list in May's pie-in-the sky addendum. How can we vote for a future that has barely been discussed, let alone negotiated?

We should have been out 12 months ago. I said at the time. They delayed A50 till they'd worked out how just how they were going to remain.

Julia, I have always been a proud British citizen, and have always believed in the whole ‘ cradle of constitutional democracy ‘ Are the government , seriously going to overturn the will Of the people as expressed in the referendum and surrender to the EU

We weren't the 'cradle of constitutional democracy.' Greece was. And then Rome. And yes, that is what the government shd do. Because ours is a representative democracy. & parliament's job is to act in the best interest of the country, not just to follow the 'will of the people'

I wish I could laugh about it though. I have never seen such depths of ineptitude. I don’t think this is all because of the useless @theresa_may, just the whole of the British political institution.
