If non EU Britain will have a sea border with EU France after brexit that seems to be ok with the EU so why the big problem with Ireland other than its a good excuse for May and the EU to keep us tied to the EU.

So true. The people voted to leave the EU. Forget about the political posturing if May/Parl had accepted leaving the EU & started to focus/show signs of wanting to be truly Independent outside of the EU then the EU wouldn't have dared produce the WA as is.
