I’m confused, Julia. Do you believe in parliamentary democracy or not?

She believes in the sound of her own voice.
-
And Remainers don't want to hear anyone else's voice. That's their idea of democracy. No Democracy!

Julia, I agree THE BRITISH PEOPLE should have the final say
#PeoplesVoteNow -
How many final says should there be? The last one was classed as a final one. Now this. So how many more?
-
The last one was advisory only.
-
So we were all unclear as to whether the government would or wouldn't act on it? Or that the house voted to enact on it? Seems a tad desperate playing that card tbh
-
We were unclear as to the terms. Norway, Canada+++, No Deal, May's Deal. No we know the terms and implications we need a vote on that.
-
We know zero terms on any trade relationship with anyone including the EU or elsewhere. Show me these terms if you believe it so? We most certainly do not know any implications as the only way to feel any pros and/or cons is to enact the vote, then in 10-15yrs there will be facts
-
The WA agreement provides outlines on the future with the EU ie. a backstop to save the GFA. How many people voted for a backstop where the UK is "trapped" under EU regs.
-
Belfast agreement didn't needed saving. The WA is not in anyway a plan for the way forward. Plus unless ppl can see what trade agreements have been reached, the pros/cons which will take many years then i am sorry we are not more informed. You just want another chance. Be honest

That damn Parliamentary sovereignty. It's playing havoc with whatever "the people" voted for. One clear way out of this perennial impasse is a People's Vote.
-
Unfortunately MP's in Parliament or the Government are not representative of their constituency's are they? So it's not really working is it? They ask the electorate to vote, they did, they ignore, that is NOT Parliamentary sovereignty is it! Working for themselves only, it is.

But what is the plan? Leave with no deal? That’s ok if you are a journalist who will be unaffected if it goes belly up but not for the rest of us!
-
I’m not a journalist and the answer is still yes leave without a deal which is what we voted in 2016 for. Unless of course your ballot paper said remain, leave only if we get a deal?
-
Independently wealthy?
-
Nope sadly not but I am aware that the uk is capable of leaving the eu and prospering outside of it. Opportunity is there and we need to take it. The idea remainers have that we cannot is not only laughable but just blatantly untrue.
-
Name one opportunity. One.
