No one demanded a referendum Julia, and you know it. Don't rewrite history babes.

-
Yes they did. There was a majority for leaving the EU before the 2015 election which was why Cameron had to promise to hold a referendum. Do try to keep up, babes.
-
No, he did it to keep the extremists in his own party on side and it backfired on him.
-
No, he did it because so many Tory voters would have abandoned the Tories to vote UKIP. Bugger all to do with his own Eurosceptics. Voters made it an election issue. Because they wanted to have their say. I was a political editor at the time.
-
I thought everybody knew this. UKIP, a single issue party had finished 3rd in the General Election, more votes than SNP & Libs combined. Remainers don't like facts.
-
I’d be grateful if leavers coukd give me one real fact why we woujd be better off out

we wouldn't be living under a dictatorship. we would be able to pick and choose who can come into our country. we would be able to trade with the rest of the world. we will get the fisheries back. we can make our own law's. and we could keep billions of pounds. more than one.
-
We voted for 97 pc of eu laws. Most of them protect us greatly from bad food that is cheap and destroys our own industry and high grade medicines etc etc etc the list is endless.without some immigration our nhs has had http://it.read about wto. We get the money back ...

Why? You've been banging on about the sovereignty of parliament for the last 2+ years. Now you've seen it in action you're throwing your toys out of the pram because it didn't do as you wanted. That's democracy for you Julia!
-
No I haven’t. I’ve never talked about parliamentary sovereignty. I care about the British *people* being sovereign. Do you really find this stuff complicated?
-
Not complicated at all if you understand it which you don't. The people's sovereignty is lent to Parliament for five years and returned to them on polling day. But do carry on broadcasting assertions based on zero knowledge it's hilarious.

Just listened to John Redwood, the first MP I've heard who has had any passion and vigor in talking up the UK and looking to the future and what we can do instead of grovelling to EU paymaster's.
-
I don't care on that, what's more important to me and I would imagine countless others is that he did something none of the others are doing, he talk the UK up, not down.
-
Then you're a prize mug; he's trying to enrich himself at YOUR expense.

Voters NEVER demanded a referendum on Brexit. Before Feb 2016, Brexit was a sick joke of a bunch of nutters in the untra-right wing of the Tory. Since then it had been normalized via an incredible con trick of social engineering...

I expect she has assets she wants to protect and avoid tax on.
#peoplesVote -
Well, do we reckon 17 million people got worried about the money they’d stashed in their tax havens? Or was this a campaign by wealthy non Dom newspaper owners?
