I hate it and, just like all the other curiously shaped sky scrapers built in London in recent years, I shall continue to hate it until the day I love it. Ho hum.https://twitter.com/PickardJE/status/1064518384866463745 …

They are only temporary. They will fall down after Brexit. Ask David Lammy or Anna Soubry.

It’s trophy architecture, competing against its neighbours instead of harmonising with them. And it looks revolting.

Do you know there is the same problem in Limassol, new buildings supposedly by creative architects going up Ugly as Croesus (I think) and contaminating the place for ever, all in inappropriate places, wrong heights and shapes and defy belief

This skyline mess, can’t be called anything else, surely reflects the confused state of mind of London’s planners?

Clearly just the ego of the architect. London’s skyline is crap. At least Paris had the sense not to ruin theirs around the cultural buildings.

London looks ridiculous now. Trying to look like American cities with no character. It has lost its charm as a historical city. Architects have lost the plot.

It doesn't really matter as long as there's a bar at the top. Is there a bar at the top?
