If we kill Brexit regular folk will sigh a sigh of relief. This posh persons vanity project needs to stop now!

Thank goodness you have true men and women of the people like Tony Blair, George Soros, Richard Branson, Bob Geldof, Gordon Brown, Nick Clegg, Anna Soubry, Chuka Umunna, Jean Claude Juncker and Theresa May to fight your corner
-
To mention but a few
-
I forgot all the wealthy celebs telling us plebs what to do, like say Steve Coogan who spends a fair bit living in LA
-
Very remiss. For me this Brexit terror is a
@Conservatives problem, from first to last, they must take responsibility for what that unnecessary referendum has done to our lovely country. Like most stuff they instigate it will be the poor who pay the price. -
It was always going to happen. You can’t go from a loose trading bloc to a country called Europe with a currency, an all powerful government and an army without referring back to the people. The problem has been Theresa May wanting to sell BRINO as the Brexit we voted for
-
Labour promised to give us a ref on the Lisbon treaty, then renegd on it and signed it in private! They knew then ppl didn’t want to be a part of this project but pushed it through regardless!

Rubbish, if that were the case why would we vote a new government in every 5 years? Democracy has to accommodate the fact that peoples minds can change in light of a changing situation.
-
Yes, but you don't stop the new government before it's even taken office

The Peterloo analogy is apt. Brexiteers are the agitators for greater democracy and the sovereignty of the people. The Remainer elites and their reactionary supporters are akin to the High Tories and local magnates who sought to crush the people's demand for democracy.

Just remind me how Manchester voted in the referendum.
-

On the contrary, the Peterloo marchers were seeking representation so, to make the analogy pertinent, they are the ones seeking a
#PeoplesVote (your sovereignty of the people). The mill owners/magistrates/yeomanry etc are the MPs denying them their voice.

So what if now. Now the facts are known. People have changed their minds. Or not. And there is another vote. About deal or status quo. Why is that not democratic?
-
And if leave won again would put an end to it once and for all, I very much doubt it.
-
Leave would win by a landslide...that’s why parliament will never have a second referendum, they would have to deliver brexit then...most MPs would rather die than do that...
-
I know plus we had our vote 2016 didn't we yay
#Brexit#MayMustGo -
We did..but remain didn’t win, that’s why we’re having all this trouble how ,and the fact we have no party representing leave in Parliament...remain have 6 parties....6 v 0
-
Even though 406 constituencies voted leave....
-
Conservative will get slaughtered at next election for betraying Brexit, but I shudder at the thought of a labour government,we need a new party desperately.
