“You can have Brexit or the NHS, you can’t have both.” Seriously, would you want this doctor to treat your child?https://twitter.com/campbellclaret/status/1058651420273053701 …

In response to discovering that the medical community as a whole concluded that Brexit is bad for the NHS, you are questioning their respect for democracy. That suggests that academic expertise should bend to popular opinion. I trust you don't mean that?https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1058755325799600128?s=19 …

Democracy didn’t stop on a single day in 2016. Democracy is not ochlocracy. Democracy is for all the people, not some. Democracy requires legality, let’s see what the NCA decide on that one. It seems you don’t know much about it after all.

Ochlocracy is rule by the mob. Doing only what the majority demand, not what is in the interests of all the people.

Seems like
#Brexit is not good for the people of Britain!

Don’t mistake the outcome of the referendum for the outcome of Brexit. The referendum dictated whether Brexit should be pursued or not. It did not, however, change any of the facts of Brexit itself. You can’t vote to change facts. Facts are immutable.https://twitter.com/uk_domain_names/status/1057694547608788992?s=21 …

It’s not about democracy,is it? It’s about experts saying how damaging it’s going to be and you, not an expert, telling them they’re wrong.

No Julia.Soon after the referendum, patients told me they voted Brexit to 'help the NHS'. Presumably they believed the Battle Bus claim. They did not vote for increasing staff shortages as EU Drs/nurses leave or for their medication to have to be stockpiled & airlifted in.pic.twitter.com/YXdPSRoziE
