Nice to see
@campbellclaret praising doctors. He usually just props them up against tree trunks -
And in the long lost past age of adult reasoned debate when opposing views and opinions were welcomed, like Democracy! When did we immediately assume that somebody’s professional skills were questionable without any evidence!

Project fear strikes again.
-
If there is a widening gap in terms of expenditure and income, we will see the NHS having to chose what it will take responsibility for, rather like the BBC is currently doing. If the gap is wide, watch out. Project Fear? You've been warned.
-
How about we cut all NHS services and benefits from migrants who arrive without medical insurance , a trade or secured employment arranged before entering the country but who currently expect the UK to pay & provide for the entourage they bring with them
-
A drop in the ocean expenditure wise & EU migration brings a large NET profit to the NHS in terms of tax revenue. Most EU citizens younger & healthy & working.

migrants who have secured employment and are financially able to support themselves before entering the country are more than welcome. those without a trade or health insurance but expect free housing and financial support for them and their families are the drain on UK resources
-
But like the good doctor says, the impact of those you speak of are a "drop in the ocean" for the NHS. Try again.
-
If we remove the ‘drop in the ocean’ it will reduce the impact on others. EU counteries charge €30 to get an appointment with your GP and €80 if you arrive in A&E yet the UK population believes the NHS should be free at point of entry. Is it not time to pay like the EU?
-
Of course this option is in place already within EU law,but hasn’t been activated by Government. It is still a small amount compared to net gain.

WHAT?! The British Medical association, over 80% of doctors, the Royal College of Nurses & the Royal College of Midwives all say Brexit would seriously damage the NHS. Anyone who questions that now, probably doesn't use the NHS anyway; They probably use shamans and horoscopes!
-
Don't worry! We all know JHB knows more about the NHS than the BMA, the RCM and the RCN, put together, after all she is a Brexiter!
-
I appear to know more about democracy than all of them put together.
-
In response to discovering that the medical community as a whole concluded that Brexit is bad for the NHS, you are questioning their respect for democracy. That suggests that academic expertise should bend to popular opinion. I trust you don't mean that?https://twitter.com/JuliaHB1/status/1058755325799600128?s=19 …
