Is one of your paramount reasons to ‘irritate remainers’ what a pathetic life you have. And how little hope you have in the benefits of brexit.

It’s a joke, mate. We used to do those, remember?

For whom is brexit a joke?

Not wanting to burst anyone's bubble but the rest of the world is laughing its ass off at the 'Brexit' coin! Trashing a once proud nation and its economy for a blue passport and a 50 pence piece! It's Shakesperian in its tragedy!

Should have Farage's head on one side and a Unicorn on the other + it should only be worth 35p

I'm resigned to the fact that we won't actually be leaving the EU, we will be told we have, but over a period of time, signs will start filtering through proving we haven't

The coin should have emblazened on it 'Stand out from the crowd'

Pound coins have traditionally only ever carried designs relating to the nations of the UK. The 50p coin was used to commemorate accession to the then EEC and other EU related coins, so it seems appropriate to counterpoint it with a coin about leaving the EU.

It's because the 50p has always been the EEC coin. Britannia facing Europe with an olive branch. The seven hands. The EU presidency. The silver anniversary of membership. The pound coin has been about national symbols, and bridges.
