Should 16 and 17 year old children be allowed to vote in the EU referendum? Oh yes! Should citizens of other EU countries get their say? Yes, absolutely! Had we been given a vote when we joined we might never had any of these problems.

We did, only 3 million people voted.

We had a vote to stay in.We didn't have a vote to join.If people then had been told what the Common Market was going to morph into we would,nt have remained in.
-

We should have had a vote on Maastricht. That’s the big moment when the EEC morphed into the EU. Anyway, even in a GE, people don’t know absolutely everything. They vote based on a broad view of many issues.
