People keep asking me to sign this petition to stop a 2nd EU referendum. No, I won’t sign it. I refuse to play the games of the anti-democratic Remoaners. We were asked a question, we gave the answer. We don’t need petitions to make our case for democracy.https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/226071 …

The only people who would sign that are those who know that Leave would lose now that the facts are known. If they were so sure they would win they would jump at the chance to silence the #Remainers once & for all. #FinalSayForAll with an #OptionToRemain

Leavers who respect democracy should have been silenced after 1975 by that argument. Democracy is personified by the right to protest.

Certainly did. People voted to #Remain by a truly overwhelming majority. Unlike the marginal result bought by Russia and Bannon this time.

Anyone who has turned 18 since the last referendum would argue you were wrong. Also by that logic, every MP elected since 1834 could demand we reinstate the death penalty for hundreds of crimes. Or does this logic only apply to votes you (retrospectively) disagree with?

68000.people have signed the petition so far. We owe it to them to ensure it passes 100,000. Brexiteers must stick together & support each other. There's too much talking going off. We need to be seen to be doing something. The politicians certainly aren't doing anything.

The problem with any 2nd Ref with “Remain” an option: - if Remain won we would remain- if Leave won we would still Remain- because the Remain zealots would never relent - they have already shown us that- the tantrum would continue. So no sane person would entertain a 2nd Ref

A 2nd Referendum is the Leave voters “heads we win - tails you lose” con.

i agree totally with you Julia and I have signed these petitions and I don't think it makes ant difference but remainers are throwing everything at getting another vote so everything helps if leavers get a voice. Perhaps leavers are too quiet.

If there’s another vote, you’ll have a perfect opportunity to voice your support for Leave. The flaw in the argument is that somehow another vote deprives Leavers of something. It simply gives them a chance to say they are certain.

I to will not be signing it but if they do get a 2nd referendum I will kaugh hard and vote again for brexit along with the majority that this time will be somewhere in high 60% region in all honesty think it will be exactly 73% leave.
