The idea that working in a school canteen or a care home can be compared in any way with collecting bins - and should be paid the same - is just ridiculous. Equal pay for the same job? Fair. Equal pay for completely different jobs? Unfair.

I am a very nice person to the vast majority of people I encounter. People like you usualky dislike me, yes. You are not nice and a chancer but you prey on people with real struggles in order to push your little agenda.

You have no knowledge ir authority to challenge their logic. That was my argument and it still stands.
-
Surely it is every employers responsibility to pay the minimum required to fill the posts they are trying to fill. If they can fill all the care roles with the money they are offering then they are paying enough. If they can’t fill the roles then they should pay more. Simple.
-
Interesting logic. Have you heard of the Social Care crisis? Have you got anyone in your family who needs professional care?
-
Well that just proves my point. If they are unable to fulfil the social care jobs then they need to offer a higher rate for these roles until they can fill the posts. It is simple supply and demand. Increase the rate you increase the supply and vs versa.
