Woah - nice twist! I don't think it's the word itself that's the problem, but seeming to have a nasty pop at a sick child The word is ok though. For instance I can happily say "you are a cretin", "you tweet cretinous things" and " you are a tone-deaf scumbag" without hypocrisy

Why on earth would anyone with half a brain think the word was aimed at the child?
-
Indeed - why I said "seeming" But you're right, and while we are at it, why on earth would anyone with half a brain tweet "What a pathetic cretin" underneath a picture of a sick child when they *clearly* mean "That's sad. I hope he is better soon"? Bloody autocorrect!

So lovely of the discount Hatie Gobkins to try to organise a pile-on.

The point is that Cretinism is a real illness and is therefore hurtful to those suffering from it. Scum bag, whilst being accurate, is not an illness, merely a result of dodgy shenanigans. You're welcome

I'm lost here. Is Stewart in the dog house because he retweeted someone else's tweet. I'm new being engaged with Twitter, huge apologies. Or is it the person who retweeted Stewart's tweet that's in the dog house? So confusing!
-
@BrexitStewart is in the doghouse for calling a young lad who is in GOSH a 'cretin' for wanting to demonstrate his support for the EU by having an EU flag as a bedspread for his hosp bed in a photo and for saying he was disappointed that he couldn't go on the#PeoplesVoteMarch -
You do realise that it was his Step-dad who organised it all? No, didn't think so. Poor kid had no choice. Keep children out of politics, particularly when so ill. Let them have a life. Stop selfishly & stupidly worrying them that their futures are finished because of Brexit.
-
Most normal people would see a young lad trying to join in with something that his parents feel passionate about whilst confined to hospital. Fighting something that impacts his future. But not in Brexitland...
-
Most 'normal' people protect their children from adult political matters, allow children to be kids, don't force them on marches or send their photos worldwide on twitter backing their parents cause, they allow them to make their own minds up when older & do not indoctrinate them
-
He was joining in. He was in hospital ffs. If you want to see the bad in things you will. It seems to be what Brexit has done to some people. Removed their soul. Enjoy your joyless, empathy free life

Another moaner who likes to screen shot and retweet, to try and shame and attack you into conforming, is this a trait for all the
#FBPE lot -
It's just a dogwhistle to followers to pile on. They have zero actual arguing technique or ability, so work on the theory that lots of their followers shrieking at t you will change your opinion, or in some cases even change facts

What they don’t seem to comment on is the fact the stepfather thought it more important to go on the march than be with this child during/after his operation. Who’s a scumbag?
