As a socialist why would McDonnell want to subject Northern Ireland population to terminal economic decline? Who would suffer most in his united Ireland: 1.Unionists 2.Nationalists 3.Catholics 4.Protestants 5.Working class ?

As a Socialist, that's what he will bring if he ever gets to power, but as a Socialist, he will state it wasn't proper Socialism.

When has Corbyn ever said anything in support of violence? Or acted in a violent manner? In trying to assist peace processes he’s talked to people involved in violence. As has every single UK PM - albeit it rarely directly.
-
When he stood in memory of all those who died in the ‘armed struggle’ fighting for a united Ireland. Not all who died, only those fighting for that cause.

Ireland and the EU are trying to bring about a united Ireland. How could John McDonnell ever be trusted to govern this country. How could the British army take orders from McDonnell and Corbyn.

The only people talking bombs bullets and balaclavas nowadays are those waving Union Jacks and are fully fledged DUP supporters. Let’s make THAT perfectly clear. It’s not the ‘usual suspects ‘ anymore.

Except we don’t teach anything about the Irish conflict in the UK History curriculum, so how are the young voters of tomorrow supposed to know the incredibly complex background to the issues? Correct they won’t!! Ideology should be supported by knowledge and there isn’t any!

Damn right. I went to a grammar school in Plymouth at the height of the Troubles and I wasn't even taught about the Irish potato famine, never mind about Pearse, Connolly and the B Specials. British education has a lot to answer for.

We had the ballot box and 17.4 million voted for Brexit. McDonnell wants to ignore it. Perhaps if Brexiters began an armed ‘struggle’ for UK independence he’ll back us?

Killing or maiming 30,000 isn’t enough for Corbyn and mates
