It isn’t students; it is students who are tragic enough to get involved in student politics. NUS was always home for those not clever enough to be focused on study, not commercial enough to be building a CV, not sporty enough to be on a team and too weird to socialise in bar
-
I remember my son saying that he went to a NUS event, they asked if he was a member of the NUS, he said no, asked why not, he said you have leaflets and promotions for all sorts here, what do you have for me, a white heteosexual male? Answer was nothing.
-
Do individuals join the NUS??
-
Haven’t a clue.

There was none of this nonsense pre-Brexit. Students - even well known ones - could wear any kind of fancy dress just uniform for a bit of a laugh...pic.twitter.com/xJYyUbR13o

Quite right Prof - and who misses those awful days before the blessed EU when families could go to a Christmas event without the need of an armoured car?

I'd like to know who is behind this. Pretty sure 99% of students themselves don't arrive at university with these ideas already formed.
-
No, but the problem is they leave university with these ideas already formed.

We’re lucky Julia that we lived in the best times of our country as our youth are most certainly not up to the job of looking after it

Time to close these shitholes and make the soft arses do manual jobs

-
But but but what would we do without Sociology and Paychology degree holders?????

-
Don’t forget media studies, everybody but everybody seems to ‘study’ this subject. They’re all desperate to be famous & this is a way in.

They only want cowboy outfits banned because they are the only ones who recognised their degree in "What can we moan about next" And their masters in "Its not fair"

Next time I'm forced to go anywhere Cambridge University I shall be wearing my MAGA cap. I only bought it as a joke but some snowflakes just need triggering. Must print up a pro-Brexit bag to complete the ensemble.
