Lol - I'm getting loads of emails from Brexiteers across the country who have booked tickets and are coming down to London for the 20th! Party hard guys.

Brilliant to see Leavers joining Remainers in supporting a
#PeoplesVote. Whichever way the vote goes, democracy will be the winner. -
Yea, you seem to be missing something. We had the “people’s vote” just over 2 years ago. Seeing as some people refuse to respect that easily, not sure why anyone sees a second one as being this brave new answer...
-
The 2016 referendum was a vote on the fantasy. The
#PeoplesVote will be a vote on the reality. If the majority want to go ahead and brexit, we will. If the majority doesn't want to go ahead, we won't. Either way, democracy's the winner. -
Absolute nonsense. You’re only calling it a fantasy because it didn’t go the way you wanted. If a new referendum went against you, you’d still be bleating like a child. You lost. Give it up!
-
You must admit that the implications of brexit are much clearer now than in 2016. If people see what brexit means in concrete terms and want to proceed that's fine. If not, that's also fine. The country faces a big decision: let's make that decision democratically.
-
I don’t believe for a moment that anyone who is crying out for this “people’s vote” nonsense are doing so out of a sense of democracy. They’re doing so as they didn’t like original vote. I never got a vote on joining EU, had to wait till 2016. Bet you didn’t think that unfair!
-
Personally I'll be happy to accept the will of the majority if most people choose to leave the EU (even though unhappy about the result). But I don't think we should do it if most people oppose it, as the polls now show.

This obnoxious poster and the nasty comments on this thread just show why we need to stop Brexit and restore some decency to this country. Brexiters make the majority of us ashamed to be British.
-
sadly i think you'll find you are in a minority...hence your need for a losersvote
-
I think not. I know thousands have changed their minds now the lies have been exposed. If you are so confident, why would you oppose a democratic, fair
#PeoplesVote -
Because democracy doesn't work like that despite the rubbish u are being fed by the politicians and business leaders who tried so desperately to get their own way the first time. What happens when you lose again? do we just keep going until you get your own way?
#oncealifetimevote -
Democracy works exactly that way. otherwise we would just stick to the 1975 result. And more importantly, everyone knows the 2016 referendum was fraudulent and won by dark money and foreign interference. It's only democratic to check the will of the people now they know more.
-
Shall we do this annually ? or until you run out of excuses as to why you lost ? Tell you what let's go with your approach and settle on 41yrs time
Strange how the country didn't fall for the honesty of project fear which played out exactly as preached to us.... -
Project Fear is playing out -not as quickly as originally thought because Mark Carney and the BoE played a blinder at containing the damage. But thousands of jobs are already lost or relocating, the car industry is gearing up to ship out, prices have risen, the £ has collapsed...

10year average pound to euro 1.19, today it's sits at a quite disastrous 1.14. I prefer to work with data not drama.

We used to do this while at Manchester Uni in the 80s - sign up for coaches to London for CND and other looney causes but head straight for Oxford St Topshop and then a boozy run round Covent Garden, nice snooze in the coach on the way back.
-
Gee. How clever.

It was! Thanks

Missing out on that famous English irony gene I see.
