Today you’ll spot lots of nice @peoplesvote_uk folk out campaigning to stop Brexit. Please do take the time to politely explain to them that we’ve already had a #PeoplesVote in 2016 & that this is a #LosersVote by those who don’t respect democracy. They’ll appreciate the feedbackpic.twitter.com/gryV0hK6JV

Love the fact that JHB is so badly educated that she doesn’t understand the difference between a representative & direct democracy, the difference between constituents & the electorate, or the obligations that MPs have under their code of conduct to act 1/

In the best interests of the country & their constituents ‘the people’ - only 26% of constituents voted leave -to impose the will of the minority of the people on the majority without further consideration or consultation is not democratic but has all the hallmarks of fascism

Hilarious - I appreciate you're busy using your voice to subvert democracy so a couple of quick questions - why do you think its acceptable for MP's to breech their own code of conduct ? why were proposals to add Democratic Thresholds into the EU Ref Act not implemented ?

All good questions, Chris, but wasted on someone who hasn’t grasped the more basic point that democracy continues beyond a poll. It didn’t end in June 2016 - not unless we allow it to.

Where? You've never been one. You have an entire account of childishness, including the very tweet this was a reply to. When will you learn to respect the 74 vote? People don't change their minds, so why did we have a second referendum? Why are you scared of a democratic vote?

What a perfectly foolish response from someone who has absolutely no intention of debating an issue sensibly, preferring, instead, the populist option of playing to the gallery.

Grown ups know that the type of Brexit that the Leavers argued for is not the type of Brexit that is in Chequers or in No-deal. How do we know that either is wanted now?
