Does condescension come naturally to you, or do you have to practice?
-
I was being nice! Do you need a safe space?

Love the fact that JHB is so badly educated that she doesn’t understand the difference between a representative & direct democracy, the difference between constituents & the electorate, or the obligations that MPs have under their code of conduct to act 1/
-
In the best interests of the country & their constituents ‘the people’ - only 26% of constituents voted leave -to impose the will of the minority of the people on the majority without further consideration or consultation is not democratic but has all the hallmarks of fascism
-
Shush, dear. The grown ups are talking.
-
Hilarious - I appreciate you're busy using your voice to subvert democracy so a couple of quick questions - why do you think its acceptable for MP's to breech their own code of conduct ? why were proposals to add Democratic Thresholds into the EU Ref Act not implemented ?
-
All good questions, Chris, but wasted on someone who hasn’t grasped the more basic point that democracy continues beyond a poll. It didn’t end in June 2016 - not unless we allow it to.

Not sure having your fishing livelyhood affected by the EU is a sob story, its a valid reason to leave
-
No it isn’t, all of my family work in the fishing industry and they have explained that as with most things brexit will be disastrous for their industry. UK Fishing quotas were sold off to corporations, won’t change post brexit. Now fishing also face tariffs post brexit. V. Bad.

As the Norwegian Foreign Minister said of Non Tariff Barriers to trade “Nothing is in as big a hurry as fish on the back of a lorry”.
-
Funny. It's almost like Norway is in the EEA/EU Single Market.
-
I don't suppose having one of the world's largest sovereign wealth funds due to fossil fuel resources hurts either.
