Well, I for one am utterly gobsmacked that the Observer newspaper has decided to back the #LosersVote campaign. Shocked to the core.https://twitter.com/peoplesvote_uk/status/1041229858129498112 …

What’s that got to do with anything? I’m a British citizen who had to come to the EU to find work some years ago. I’m extremely grateful as when I left the UK I literally had no money. So what?
-
So you don’t live here but you can confidently predict what will happen if we don’t Brexit? Uh huh.
-
I work in shipping an essential commodity. So yes I’m probably in a pretty good position to give an opinion
-
And of course you spend time talking to people across the country who might perhaps have an opinion on these things.
-
Please! Give me one proven benefit to Brexit on an economic level
-
Give me one proven negative of Brexit on an economic level. There is no proven +ve or -ve to Brexit because it has never happened before, each side has a view on what will happen but no one knows for sure! I do think we will initially be negatively impacted but there was a vote!
-
The UK economy is already 2.1% smaller and that’s before we’ve even left. That is an irrefutable fact dear chap
-
And we are still in th e EU my dear!
