As many have said, his predictions are always wrong. Maybe his next job should be with the metrological office presenting the weather. He might stand a chance of getting something right then.

JHB is the type of person who seriously thinks she knows more about finance than the governor of the Bank Of England, just because he doesn’t agree with her views on leaving the EU

The views that I have heard JHB express are as sound on the fundamentals of macro economic policy management as anything from Carney. But he has been running a recklessly low interest rate policy and the UK is perilously exposed to the next cyclical downturn

Ok, you take your financial advice from a radio host if you wish I’ll stick with Carney (and the rates are low for a reason)

A politically compromised central banker with a proclivity for alarmist statements should not be running the BOE, but hey you just respect the office and doff that forelock

Or at least there was somebody who actually had a plan for leave winning which is more than any politician had (from both sides). And it’s a matter of opinion that he’s politically compromised

Yesterday Mark Carney held ‘talks ‘ with Arlene Foster the woman who literally burnt almost £800,000,000 of the BRITISH taxpayers money in a cash for ash heating scheme. Nick Leeson got 7yrs for less , and no permanent invite to No 10 or a seat on the Privy Council.

Isn't that precisely what you want in a man entrusted with the currency of the country? You'd rather have a gambler who says "nah' forget the risks, it'll just be brilliant fun"?

A Briton and one who doesn’t make propagandist warnings that are so hugely erroneous that he’s publically grilled into admitting his terrible inaccuracies, as happened following hos last 2016 fearmongering.
