No, Chris is a good bloke. We just disagree on this issue.

To be fair you're right. He seems a nice bloke but completely misguided.

How can a second ref be undemocratic?
-
Because we haven’t implemented the 1st.

Wales voted for devolution in 1997 by a margain of 50.3% for and 49.7% against. Turnout was just 50%. Shall we give them a 'peoples vote'? You know, just in case the Welsh have changed their minds and want a return of direct rule from Westminster.
-
I voted against , but not for one second did I believe we should vote again. I guess EU democracy isn't the same as ours , and sure as he'll doesn't deserve any respect.
-
It is not, if I remember correcly the Irish rejected the Lisbon treaty and they made them vote on it again months later. That time they said yes and it was ratified. It is all about being asked to vote until the 'correct' result is reached.

Was anyone thinking when they went in to the booth to cast their vote in the referendum I’m not too sure, I don’t have all the information on the subject, I want another vote in 2 years. No it was in or out, end of.
-
'This is a once in a generation vote. We will implement what you decide'. They forgot to add the small print - unless you plebs dare to vote the wrong way, in which case we'll borrow the EU's tactic and make you vote again until you get it right!

It does seem like a very curious approach to business to sign up to a deal two years before you know the terms and conditions, don't you think?
-
But we did know the deal, we knew what the Cameron “amended” eu option was and the electorate rejected that option.
-
Of course we didn't know the deal. Even now it's still being negotiated. We still don't know (though foreign businesses are already leaving)
-
Yes we did know the deal, we knew what the deal was to remain. You seem to be under an illusion we were only voting on whether we wanted to leave. Did you miss the other question? we voted on whether we wanted to remain too & we knew what deal for that was & it was rejected
-
sorry no more anonymous bots, arguing tha black is white. I hope you aren't one of those paid by Putin
-
Just for once it would be refreshing not to have someone pull out the Russian bot card the second they lose the argument!
